Manchester United and Chelsea have been told to pay at least £57million if they want to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba, after revelations made by Barcelona presidential candidate, Agusti Benedito, Express reports.
The 22-year-old is one of the most chased after players in world football at the moment, with almost every European giant monitoring his situation.
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Barca, along with United and the Blues have been linked with a move for the France international throughout the campaign.
Benedito revealed that he has been in talks with the club as well as Pogba himself, hinting the amount that needs to be paid in order to push the transfer forward.
“I have spoken to Pogba. First, I contacted Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli, then spoke directly with the player,” he said.
“They have proposed an annual salary of £8.6m after tax and a transfer fee of £57m.”
He also admitted that he is confident on completing a move for the former Red Devils midfielder if he is elected as the club’s new president.
The Serie A winner has been a huge force for his side over the course of the campaign, featuring 41 times in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists.
