Manchester United and Chelsea target Kevin De Bruyne has held talks with Paris Saint-Germain, with the speculation being confirmed by his agent, Daily Star reports.
The 24-year-old Wolfsburg star is attracting huge interest from a number of elite European clubs after a stand-out display for his side this season.
He was sold by the Blues in the summer after failing to hold down a regular role as the Belgium international was loaned out to both Genk and Werder Bremen in his two years at Stamford Bridge.
De Bruyne’s agent Patrick De Koster has confirmed that PSG have already held talks over a potential move for the midfielder.
“We had a meeting, we talked about Kevin,” he said.
“PSG are a club with a lot of ambition and they are one of the teams Kevin would certainly like.”
He also added that although clubs were only willing to pay around £21million for his services, he believes a more reasonable price tag will be around the £35million mark.
“A player like Kevin is worth €50m (£35m) to €60m (£42m) in today’s market. Clubs that say they are willing to pay €30m (£21m) for Kevin are not in touch with reality.”
De Bruyne has been on great form this season, impressing scouts with his 15 goals and 22 assists from a total of 41 appearances in the Bundesliga as well as the Europa League.
