Manchester United and Liverpool, along with five other clubs, are still looking to sign Barcelona star Dani Alves in the summer, according to reports from the Mirror.
The 31-year-old will play out his contract at the end of the campaign, but the La Liga giants are still very keen on retaining his services.
Amongst the interested sides, Paris Saint-Germain are currently favourites to sign him after rumours stated that he has already agreed a switch to Ligue-1.
However, Alves came out to refute the claims as his future destination is yet to be revealed, but the Brazilian is still being linked with a number of clubs, including Juventus, Inter Milan, as well as Borussia Dortmund.
United boss Louis van Gaal is also keen on adding a right-back into his squad, with Alves’ experience seen as a great asset.
Current full-back Rafael is also tipped to leave Old Trafford in the summer, leaving a huge void in United’s right-back position.
Meanwhile Barca are still hoping Alves remains at the Nou Camp, as he is still considered a key member of the squad, starting 31 matches in all competitions so far this season.
