Manchester United and Liverpool are in the race with Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City for the signature of Leeds United starlet Lewis Cook, Daily Star reports.
The 18-year-old has been a stand out performer for his side, despite them struggling so far in the English League Championship.
Leeds are currently 14th in the league and are likely to finish in or around that position with only have five games remaining until the end of the season.
Cook is set to be the subject of a bidding war amongst the English elite and is said to be valued at about £12million.
Sources from the club have revealed that a number of top clubs are after his services, meaning his side will have a very hard time trying to convince him to stay.
“Lewis knows he will have to leave Leeds to fulfil his ambitions,” he said.
“All the big clubs have been keeping close tabs on him and want him, so he will have his pick of the best and has a big decision to make.
“He’s wonderful talent and Leeds have no chance of keeping him at Elland Road.
“It’s just a matter of when, not if, he leaves and it should be quite a mad scramble this summer.”
The midfielder has been a first team regular at Elland Road, featuring 38 times this season and looks ready to take the step into the English top flight.
