Manchester United and Liverpool have been alerted by the availability of Porto ace Danilo, after the defender turned down a contract offer from his club, according to reports from the Mirror.
Danilo has been heavily linked with a move out of Porto for some time, resulting in the Portuguese club offering a new and improved contract.
The deal would see the Brazilian stay at the Estadio do Dragao till 2017, as well as increasing his buy-out clause to a massive £40million.
However, Danilo is keen on moving to a bigger club, and has therefore rejected the deal offered by his current employers.
The 23-year-old has become a target for Man United, with the likes of Rafael and Antonio Valencia failing to impress manager Louis van Gaal on the right side of defence.
Meanwhile, Liverpool veteran Glen Johnson is set to leave the club when his contract expires this summer, making Danilo an adequate replacement for the England international.
Real Madrid have also tracked Danilo, and will provide some stiff competition for the Premier League duo.
