The 16 year old striker is making a name for himself in the youth leagues of the English game with his goals and assists this season that has alerted the top teams to his talent.
Roberts made his international debut for England under-17’s last year and was on duty for them in midweek when scouts from United and Liverpool were sent to check him out.
The North West pair are keen to buy younger players in the future with the Financial Fair Play tying their hands somewhat in regards to spending big money on foreign talent on a regular basis.
