Southampton are concerned that they will face another summer transfer exodus after losing Calum Chambers, Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Rickie Lambert prior to the 2014/15 season kicking off, that is according to reports in the Mirror.
Morgan Schneiderlin, Nathaniel Clyne and Jay Rodriguez have all been offered new deals at St Mary’s but, as of yet, haven’t committed their futures to Ronald Koeman’s Champions League-chasing side.
Schneiderlin, who has made 17 appearances in England’s top flight so far this campaign, has been subject to a lot of interest from north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal across the last two transfer windows.
Former Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino is also interested in bringing Jay Rodriguez to White Hart Lane despite the Englishman currently having no set return date from his ACL injury.
Clyne, who joined from Crystal Palace in 2012, is wanted by Louis van Gaal as the Dutchman looks to improve his defensive options at Old Trafford.
