Manchester United star Juan Mata has revealed that he is not even considering a potential return to the La Liga at the moment, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old emerged from the Real Madrid youth academy to feature for their B side before eventually signing for Valencia.
He was then lured to the Premier League by current champions Chelsea back in 2011, but failed to hold down a regular role, joining United in 2014.
Mata has now become one of the key players for manager Louis van Gaal after impressing on the right flank so far this term.
When he was asked about a possible return to Spain, the midfielder admitted that he is very happy at Old Trafford and is not thinking about any sort of exit.
“Right now I don’t even think about it. I miss family, my friends, but for I’m very happy in Manchester. I have the feeling that I have just arrived here and I still have many things to do,” he said.
The Spain international has so far featured 13 times in all competitions this term, scoring four goals while providing another six assists.
