Manchester United target Demarai Gray has now confirmed his switch from Birmingham City to Leicester City, Express reports.
The 19-year-old was linked with a move to Old Trafford over the past few months, but eventually decided to complete a transfer to the King Power Stadium.
He has now joined for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-and-a-half year deal with the Foxes to become their first addition of the January window.
Gray admitted that he is very happy to have completed a move to a Premier League side and is looking to further develop at the club.
“It’s been my dream to play in the Premier League since I started playing football so I’m very happy to join the Club,” he said.
“It’s a great Club. The facilities are great and for a player like me it’s an ideal place for me to improve. Meeting all the staff here, it seems like a nice family place, so I think that’s perfect for me.”
The winger is expected to make his debut for the side when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup Third Round this coming Sunday.
Ahead of his move, the England Under-20 star featured 24 times in the English Championship, scoring one goal while providing another one assist.
Apart from United, Arsenal and Liverpool were also said to be keen on his services, but he looks to have chosen Leicester given that he could feature on a more consistent basis.
