Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal could be considering a move to bring back on-form striker James Wilson from his loan spell at Brighton, Daily Star reports.
The 20-year-old only completed his switch to the Championship side a few weeks ago, but could now make a swift return following United’s huge decline in form.
Van Gaal has seen his side struggle to find the back of the net on a number of occasions so far this season.
With Wayne Rooney currently injured, summer signing Anthony Martial is the only striker available for selection as more reinforcements are needed.
Wilson has been on great form since joining his current side on loan, scoring two goals in his first three appearances despite being completely overlooked by Van Gaal when he was at Old Trafford.
The fans are now criticising the Dutchman for his style of play while also hitting out at him over his decision to let both Robin van Persie and Javier Hernandez leave during the previous window.
