Manchester United sensation Marcus Rashford is closing in on a new contract that would see him commit to the Red Devils for the foreseeable future, The Daily Mail report.
The 18-year-old centre forward has shot to notoriety this season after being afforded an opportunity to play in the historic club’s first team by Louis van Gaal.
Rashford has been a rare bright spark for the Old Trafford outfit, scoring important goals and impressing in his breakthrough campaign.
There has even been talk that the youngster should be in consideration for Roy Hodgson’s England squad ahead of this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament in France.
Rashford currently owns £1,500 per week but his terms are expected to be improved so he earns £25,000 each week.
This would amount to £1.3 million per year for the prodigy and more importantly for the club, would tie one of the brightest prospects of a generation to the club for the next coming years.
