Manchester United may need to look elsewhere in their bids to sign a new defender after Dante revealed that he is keen on continuing his career at Bayern Munich, Daily Star reports.
The 31-year-old emerged as one of the defensive targets manager Louis van Gaal was considering in his bids to reinforce his backline.
United were said to be willing to pay up to about £20million to acquire his services from the German champions, but the player is now being tipped to snub a move.
Dante admitted that he has been winning everything in the past few years with Bayern, and revealed that he hopes to continue picking up more silverware.
“I’ve been in at least the semi-finals of the Champions League and the German Cup in each of these three years, and won the Bundesliga each time,” he said,
“It can hardly get any better than that.”
The Brazil international has been a regular feature for his side this season, making 39 appearances in all competitions.
