Manchester United star Marco Rojo has dislocated his shoulder ahead of their clash against West Ham United this weekend, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Rojo was sent for scans in order to reveal the extent of the problem, with the Argentina international sustaining the injury in training.
The United staff are now fearing that the defender will be out for at least a month, which is the same amount of time he was sidelined for when he picked up the same injury last year.
This will come as a big blow to the Red Devils, as Rojo has been their first-choice at left-back ever since Luke Shaw broke his leg back in September.
A long lay-off could therefore tempt manager Louis van Gaal to sign a new left sided defender in the January transfer market, and it is expected that Ashley Young will be deployed for the visit of the Hammers this Saturday.
Rojo, 25, has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season, making one assist.
