Manchester United have made a move in an attempt to lure Paulo Dybala from Juventus, according to reports from Calciomercato.
The 22-year-old was a summer target for manager Louis van Gaal, with Arsenal and Chelsea also keen to sign him before he decided to leave Palermo for the Serie A champions last year.
United have been linked with a host of attackers in recent months as Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial are the only two senior strikers in the squad.
However, Juventus are expected to deny any exit for the Argentina international so soon after his arrival and are said to have placed a £77.8million price tag on the player.
Dybala has already featured 34 times in all competitions for his side this term, scoring 16 goals while managing to provide another eight assists so far.
