Manchester United are ready to turn their attention to Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura, according to Metro.
The Brazil international was coveted by the Old Trafford outfit back in 2013, with the flying attacker even passing a medical with the Premier League club.
However, just when the South American appeared to be ready to sign for the Red Devils, PSG came in at the eleventh hour and scuppered the deal with a higher bid that what United offered.
Two years on and Louis van Gaal’s side are struggling for inspiration in wide areas, with the club being linked with January moves for a host of attackers.
With Angel Di Maria moving to the Ligue 1 champions in the summer, Moura has fallen down Laurent Blanc’s pecking order and has had to send a fair amount of time on the Parc des Princes bench this term.
The report suggests that United will try to capitalise on this and see the South American as the shot in the arm that their attack needs.
