Manchester United fans have expressed their anger after manager Louis van Gaal allowed James Wilson to leave on loan, Metro reports.
The 19-year-old left to join Brighton for the remainder of the campaign after seeing his playing time greatly limited following the arrival of Anthony Martial and Memphis Depay in the summer.
However, Van Gaal sees that sending Wilson out on loan will greatly benefit his development in the future given that the striker only recently extended his stay at Old Trafford.
It is believed that the fans could be angered by this decision because he is highly rated at the club and is seen as a good option in attack due to the team’s huge lack of goals in recent weeks.
He managed to feature 17 times last season, but has only made two substitute appearances this term, with one of them coming in the 0-0 Capital One Cup draw with Middlesbrough where his side lost out on penalties.
