Man United gaffer wants new deal

Louis van Gaal is already planning to stay at Manchester United to at least 2020, that is according to reports in the Mirror.

The Red Devils gaffer reportedly impressed club owners the Glazers in a recent meeting – one where the former Netherlands manager didn’t end up heading for home until 3am – over his plans for the Manchester club right through until 2020, that they’re already considering extending the Dutchman’s contract.

van Gaal, who only joined the former Premier League champions in the summer following the sacking of David Moyes, is believed to see his time with the Red Devils as his last job and wants to go out in style having been reinvigorated since moving to Manchester.

The former Bayern Munich manager guided his team to a 2-0 victory over Sunderland in the Premier League yesterday, as they strengthened their hold on a top four spot and guaranteeing Champions League football for the next campaign.
