Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is said to be in talks with Seattle Sounders over a potential move to the MLS, according to reports from the Express.
The 33-year-old only completed a move to the club back in the January window after leaving former side Barcelona.
However, his future at Old Trafford looks to be cut short after he was omitted from the USA tour squad by manager Louis van Gaal.
It is believed that he has now been given the green light to be sold this summer, with La Liga side Valencia also keen on his luring him back to Spain.
Valdes was earlier tipped to become Van Gaal’s first choice keeper amid speculation that David de Gea was set to be sold to Real Madrid.
In addition to that, the Red Devils are already said to be close to signing his replacement Sergio Romero, who is currently a free agent after being released by Italian outfits Sampdoria.
