Manchester United target Roberto Lewandowski has revealed that he is ready to continue his stay at Bayern Munich, according to Sport Bild.
The 27-year-old is also being linked with moves to Liverpool, Barcelona, as well as Real Madrid, but is expected to snub an exit following revelations made by the striker.
He admitted that he is very happy with life in the Bundesliga while also coming out to praise the way his current club are planning for the future by ensuring the stay of a number of their key players.
“I know there is interest for me abroad, but I can well conceive of extending due to a great team and good teamwork – because the club is known to recognise achievements,” he said.
“Of course I have noticed how the club has been preparing for the future recently.
“The contract extensions of Jerome Boateng, Thomas Müller and others were a good sign that Bayern can keep its top players despite the money from England.”
It is believed that the Poland international has already met with chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to discuss the terms of his new contract which could see him remain at the Allianz Arena until at least 2021.
Lewandowski has been a standout performer since his free transfer from rivals Borussia Dortmund back in the summer of 2014, featuring 31 times in all competitions this term while managing to score 31 goals.
