Manchester United have been hit with another two injury blows, as both Adnan Januzaj and Rafael da Silva have sustained additional injuries, according to reports from Manchester Evening News.
The pair featured for the club’s Under-21 squad alongside returning stars Robin van Persie and Jonny Evans, but were both eventually forced off during the fixture.
Januzaj, 20, was a prominent figure for United last season under the management of David Moyes, but has seen very limited playing time ever since the arrival of current boss Louis van Gaal.
Similar to his teammate, Rafael has also struggled to hold down a place in the starting eleven this season, as he is now limited to a role on the bench and is also being tipped to be sold in the summer.
Yet, the two injuries have added more pressure on Van Gaal ahead of the final five matches of the campaign, with Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, and Michael Carrick all sidelined.
