Manchester United could be without Morgan Schneiderlin and Paddy McNair for their Champions League match against Wolfsburg on Tuesday, Express reports.
The pair were both subbed out during the 0-0 draw with West Ham United at the weekend as manager Louis van Gaal revealed that they are now heavy doubts to feature in midweek.
“Paddy McNair has an ankle problem and Schneiderlin is a little bit stiff in the hip, so we have to wait and see as always on that,” he said.
“I hope they can play on Tuesday but it is a very short [turnaround] so it is a very big question mark.”
Schneiderlin suffered a knock to his hip during the fixture and was replaced by Michael Carrick while Guillermo Varela was brought on for McNair who picked up an ankle injury.
United go into the match needing a win in order to top Group B, but could also miss out on qualification altogether if they lose and the results of PSV Eindhoven versus CSKA Moscow don’t go their way.
They are currently second in the group, a point behind their upcoming opponents and one above third place side CSKA Moscow.
The Red Devils have been struggling to find the net in recent months as the draw against the Hammers marked their fifth goalless draw from their previous nine matches.
