Man United hit with double injury blow during Shrewsbury win

Manchester United have been hit with another injury blow after both Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Will Keane was forced off against Shrewsbury, Express reports.

Manager Louis van Gaal already went into the fixture with 14 players unavailable, but was hit with even more problems after the pair was taken off during the fixture.

Borthwick-Jackson only featured for 45 minutes before being replaced by Joe Riley while Keane, who came on for Anthony Martial in the 71st minute picked up a groin problem.

Keane was then taken off soon after coming on, leaving United to finish the match with only 10 players on the field, but still managed to come away 3-0 victors.

The knocks now means Van Gaal will be without 16 players, with key duo Wayne Rooney and David de Gea also part of the list.

His side will go up against Midtjylland in the Europa League second leg clash on Thursday as they look to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the away fixture last week.
