Manchester United are hoping to beat Arsenal to the signing of Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot by preparing a £21million offer, according to reports from Don Balon via the Daily Star.
Rabiot has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes in recent weeks, with the Gunners and Juventus keen on the midfielder’s signature.
However, according to Spanish source Don Balon, the Red Devils are hoping to hijack any switch away from PSG and lure him to Old Trafford instead.
Arsenal are currently reluctant on paying Rabiot’s £21million asking price, but United seem to have no problem with the Ligue-1 champions’ valuation of the 20-year-old.
With Euro 2016 just a few months away, Rabiot is looking elsewhere for regular first-team football in order to have a shot at making the 21-man squad this coming summer.
Rabiot has only made 13 appearance in the French top flight this season, scoring no goals.
