Manchester United target Memphis Depay has flown to England to discuss a potential move to Old Trafford, according to reports from the Mirror.
Depay has been heavily linked with a move away from PSV Eindhoven in recent weeks, with the likes of Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain also keen on his services.
But it seems that United are leading the race, with the club reportedly flying in the 21-year-old and his representatives to negotiate a £25million transfer.
Another factor that will influence Depay’s switch is Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal, who shares a special relationship with the winger following their time working together for the Dutch national side.
Holland legend Ronald De Boer also has the same belief, making him predict that Depay will snub any other club to join Man United.
“I don’t want to say which club is more suitable for him,” said De Boer.
“But if he goes to United he knows there’s a Dutch coach there in Van Gaal who knows him from the World Cup.
“That’s an advantage. He’s one of the biggest talents in Europe – he has everything.”
Depay has been on incredible form for PSV this season, scoring 26 goals and supplying six assists in 37 appearances.
