Manchester United have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports from the Mirror.
However, the Red Devils are also in the hunt to land Aubameyang, as manager Louis van Gaal confirmed his interest in adding pace to his attack.
The former AC Milan star has been one of the most in-form players in Europe this season, scoring an incredible 25 goals in just 22 games for the BVB.
This has seen Dortmund slap a £42million price tag to ward off any interest in their prized asset, but it is unlikely to stop United in their pursuit to sign Aubameyang.
If a bid for Aubameyang fails, United could turn to Premier League top-scorer Jamie Vardy, who already has 14 goals in 15 games.
