Manchester United have joined Liverpool in the chase for Real Madrid star Toni Kroos, according to reports from the Metro.
Kroos has been recently linked with a shock move to Anfield earlier in the week, with the Germany international already considering an exit after just one year at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Reds seem intent on bringing the midfielder to the Premier League with a £35million deal reportedly in the works, but it looks like they have been joined by Manchester United in the race for his signature.
Kroos began his career in the Bayern Munich youth team, becoming a first team regular in 2010 at just 20 years old following an impressive loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen.
The 25-year-old was also integral for his country last summer, helping Germany to their fourth World Cup trophy , scoring two goals in that historical 7-1 win over Brazil.
Kroos played 55 games in all competitions last season, scoring two goals and supplying 15 assists.
