Manchester United are considering a move to sign Marc Bartra from Barcelona during the upcoming summer window, Calciomercato reports.
The 25-year-old is also being tracked by Premier League pair Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United as they look to reinforce their back line.
Bartra has struggled to hold down a first team place ever since being promoted from the academy as he has been unable to overtake current centre-back pair Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano to the role.
He only managed to register 55 appearances from his past seven campaigns at club and is now believed to be looking for a way out in hopes of getting regular playing time elsewhere.
Barca are said to have placed a valuation of around £12million for his services as United look to increase their options in defence with a move for the Spain international.
He has only started three La Liga matches this term, featuring another six times from the bench, scoring one goal while managing to provide another one assists.
