Manchester United are being linked with a move to sign Matt Ritchie from newly promoted club Bournemouth, Express reports.
The 26-year-old has emerged as one of the many attacking targets on manager Louis van Gaal’s shopping list given his recent desire to add more wingers into his ranks.
It is believed that the Dutchman told his scouts to keep an eye on the player after he helped his team clinch promotion into the Premier League last season.
Ritchie managed to score 15 goals while providing a further 17 assists last term and was the subject of a failed £7million bid from Fulham earlier this year.
This term, the Scotland international has featured in all 12 league matches for his side, scoring two goals while providing one assist so far (whoscored.com).
Apart from the Cherries star, United have also targeted a possible move to lure Southampton star Sadio Mane to Old Trafford, but have been told to pay up to £30million for his services.
