Manchester United must swiftly decide on the future of Radamel Falcao as his agent, Jorge Mendes, is set to meet the club over his client’s potential move to Valencia, Metro reports.
The 29-year-old has been heavily criticised ever since his loan move from Monaco, scoring only four goals in 17 appearances.
United are currently paying him wages of £265,000-a-week and with his loan ending at the end of the season, they must choose whether they want to keep him on a permanent basis or let him leave.
Mendes is said to be ready to meet club officials to discuss the future of the Colombia international, as Valencia await the outcome of the talks.
The La Liga side are also said to be willing to meet his £46million demands, as they could be backed by the team’s owner, Peter Lim, to splash the cash.
Falcao was said to have agreed a permanent move earlier in the season, but with the Red Devils still considering his services, he could even try to negotiate a reduced fee to ensure his stay at Old Trafford.
