Manchester United could be given the chance to sign Chelsea ace Charly Musonda after his father urged him to leave the club, Express reports.
The 19-year-old is yet to make a single appearance for the first team, a factor that could see him join another club in the near future.
His father Charly Musonda Sr. has been alerted by his son’s lack of opportunities and admitted that the midfielder should surely make a move elsewhere.
“He should definitely leave,” he said.
“Monaco were interested a while ago, and that was not the only team.”
“He should be able to play in the first team, to develop further in that way.”
United boss Louis van Gaal is said to be monitoring the situation of the youngster amid speculation that the Dutchman could table a bid of around the £10.6million region.
Musonda has so far registered 12 goals for the Under-21 squad this season while also helping his team win the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League last term.
