Manchester United are currently monitoring the situation of Heerenveen starlet Jeremiah St Juste, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 18-year-old is said to be the target of a scouting mission sent by manager Louis van Gaal in his efforts to keep an eye on the Netherland Under-19 international.
United have been linked with a host of defenders in recent months, but are yet to sign an established centre-back to reinforce their back line.
Versatile midfielder Daley Blind is now being used alongside Chris Smalling in the heart of defence with Marcos Rojo being deployed on the left due to the long-term injury to Luke Shaw.
Van Gaal is said to have sent scouts to monitor the situation of a number of Dutch talent, with St Juste just one of the many names being watched.
The centre-back has already featured in all six Eredivisie matches for his side this term and is currently regarded as a top talent coming out of Holland.
