Southampton star Sadio Mane is set to leave the club in the summer after being dropped against Norwich City this past weekend, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Mane was heavily linked with a move away from the St. Mary’s Stadium since the previous transfer window, with Manchester United interested in the Senegal international.
The Saints managed to hold on to the winger for the season but he now looks likely to leave after being dropped by manager Ronald Koeman this past weekend against Norwich for turning up late to the pre-match team meeting.
The club will be looking to hold crunch talks with the 23-year-old in the coming weeks in regards to plans over his immediate future.
However, Southampton are unlikely to let Mane leave this January, unless they receive an offer in the region of £40million from either Man United or Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Mane has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals.
