Manchester United are considering a move to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the summer, according to reports from the Express.
The 34-year-old has been tracked by manager Louis van Gaal ever since the previous window as he was keen to add another striker into his ranks.
United eventually decided to complete a £36million deal for Anthony Martial who has so far been on good form since his arrival from Monaco in the summer.
It is now said that Van Gaal has begun talks with Ibrahimovic’s representatives over a potential deal at the end of the campaign, with the proposed fee likely to be around the £57million region.
However, he may need to compete with Red Devils legend David Beckham for his services given that the former England captain is keen to lure the striker to join his new MLS franchise in Miami.
The Sweden international has been on good scoring form for his side, scoring seven Ligue 1 goals in seven appearances so far this term.
