Manchester United managerial target Jose Mourinho has signed a pre-contract agreement with the club ahead of a move in the summer, Football Insider reports.
It is believed that the former Chelsea boss has agreed a three-year deal worth £48million to take over from under-fire manager Louis van Gaal at the end of the season.
The supporters are already urging United to sack the Dutchman immediately after he picked up a number of very disappointing displays in recent months.
He suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to relegation battlers Sunderland back on February 13th before losing 2-1 again in the first leg of their Europa League tie against Midtjylland in mid week.
Mourinho is expected to be paid about £16million-a-year to mark his return to management after being sacked by the Blues earlier this season.
The potential axing of Van Gaal will mean that the Red Devils are about to sack their second manager in the space of two years following the departure of former manager David Moyes back in 2014.
