Manchester United are ready to step up their chase for Sofiane Feghouli amid speculation that he is yet to agree a contract with Valencia, Fichajes reports.
The 26-year-old will see his deal with the Spanish outfits expire in the summer as United look to acquire his services on a free transfer at the end of the season.
His addition could see Memphis Depay dropped further down the pecking order after he has been struggling to adapt to the Premier League following his arrival from PSV Eindhoven last year.
Feghouli has been a key member for his side since joining from Grenoble back in 2010, but is believed to be looking for a new challenge following his team’s huge decline in form.
Valencia are now being tipped to miss out on a spot in Europe as they sit 12th on the league table, eight points away from a Europa League spot in sixth.
The winger has featured 22 times in all competitions this term, so far managing to score four goals while providing another three assists.
