Manchester United are set to rejoin Arsenal in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani to reinforce their attack, Express reports.
The 28-year-old has continuously been tipped to leave the French capital amid speculation that he is unhappy with his role playing out wide.
PSG boss Laurent Blanc has often used Cavani on the wings in order to deploy star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic down the middle.
United manager Louis van Gaal is also believed to be keen on adding another forward into his squad given the huge decline in form of Wayne Rooney.
Rooney only managed to score two goals from his previous 12 Premier League matches, with the entire team also struggling to find the back of the net.
The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for Cavani during the summer, but were unwilling to meet his previous £50million price demands.
He has been on great form for PSG so far this term, scoring eight goals from 14 Ligue 1 matches and is believed to be valued at around the £32million region.
