Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is ready to part ways with Marcos Rojo after speculation that the pair shares a strained relationship, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 25-year-old first got on his manager’s bad side when he forgot to renew his passport, forcing him to miss the United States preseason tour.
He was then left out of the first few fixtures as he was getting back to full fitness and has recently frustrated Van Gaal once again after failing to tell him about an injury.
It is believed that Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg are plotting a move to sign the versatile defender in the January window, with the Dutch manager likely to be open to his sale.
He joined back in August of 2014 from Sporting Lisbon following an impressive display at the World Cup, but is now being tipped for a departure from Old Trafford.
Despite the club struggling for numbers in defence, they also decided to sell Jonny Evans to West Bromwich Albion during the summer.
