Manchester United boss is ready to let struggling star Nick Powell leave on loan for the remainder of the campaign, according to The Sun, as reported by the Daily Star.
The 21-year-old will see his contract at Old Trafford expire at the end of the season and could leave on a free transfer if he fails to impress while on loan.
Championship club Preston have emerged as favourites to the signature of the midfielder, but is also being tracked by a number of other sides in the league.
He was sidelined for an extended period after suffering a serious injury to his hamstring and has so far featured for manager Louis van Gaal only two times.
Apart from interest from the Championship, Premier League outfits Everton have also emerged as another club looking to acquire his services given his situation with United.
He joined from Crewe Alexandra back in 2012, but has so far registered only three appearances for the senior team, scoring one goal.
