Manchester United are said to be ready to include Antonio Valencia in a potential swap deal to sign Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 29-year-old has now been added to a shortlist of names linked with a switch to Old Trafford amid speculation that David de Gea is set for a move to Real Madrid.
Apart from Muslera, Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris, Stoke City’s Asmir Begovic, and Ajax’s Jasper Cillessen, are all being monitored by United boss Louis van Gaal.
The Turkish champions are said to be interested in a move for Valencia, a factor that could persuade the Red Devils to include him in a potential deal to sign the Uruguay international.
He may see his game time limited at United for the upcoming campaign due to Van Gaal’s search for a natural right-back, a role the Ecuadorian has been occupying throughout the season.
However, Galatasaray are keen to ensure that their keeper stays at the club and have already rejected an earlier £14million offer from La Liga giants Valencia.
