Manchester United have rejected a £3.5million bid from Fenerbahce in their chase to sign Nani, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 28-year-old spent the previous campaign on loan at Sporting Lisbon, but they were unable to complete a permanent deal for his services.
United have set an asking price for the Portugal international at about £6million despite the fact that manager Louis van Gaal is not likely to feature him in his plans.
With two-years left on his current deal, he is being paid £110,000-a-week, an amount that chief executive Ed Woodward is looking to remove from the club’s finances.
The winger is said to have already agreed to the terms of his new deal in Turkey, but the Red Devils are standing firm on their desire to sell him for a minimum fee of £6million.
He hoped his performance from last season could persuade Van Gaal to give him a place in the team, but despite scoring four goals in five Champions League games, his future at Old Trafford is looking doubtful.
