Man United set £10million asking price for star

Crystal Palace’s new gaffer Alan Pardew will have to convince the powers that be at Selhurst Park to part with £10million if he wants to make Wilfried Zaha’s loan deal a permanent one, that is according to the Daily Mail.

Zaha returned to Palace on loan during last summer’s transfer window, his second return to the club following his original £15million move to the Red Devils, and has so far this campaign bagged one goal and one assist in the Premier League from nine starts and six substitute appearances – the England U21 international has started all four of Palace’s games since Pardew joined from Newcastle United.

Manchester United stand to recoup most of the fee originally spent on the former Cardiff City loanee, should their reported asking price be met by Crystal Palace or any other potential suitors, with Zaha’s failure to meet certain agreed add-ons meaning the deal didn’t reach the £15million total that was agreed back in July 2013.
