Manchester United are set to match the buy-out clause of Porto star Danilo, who is also a target for English rivals Liverpool, according to reports from the Metro.
The Red Devils have recently been in negotiations over a summer deal for the highly-rated right-back, with interest also coming from the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
United were keen to reduce Danilo’s massive £36.3million release clause before the transfer window reopens in June, but Porto have not lowered their asking price.
Now according to reports from the Spanish AS, Man United are ready to stump up the £36.3million for the Portuguese side to allow the club to negotiate personal terms with Danilo.
The Brazilian defender has recently mooted his interest in playing in the Premier League, which earlier alerted Liverpool.
Danilo has featured in 27 games for Porto this season, scoring four goals, despite playing at right-back.
