Manchester United are ready to let Nick Powell leave, with a new contract to extend his stay unlikely to be presented to the youngster, Football Insider reports.
The 21-year-old is currently on loan with Championship side Hull City after agreeing a deal during the recent January window.
However, Powell will see his current contract with United come to an end this summer, and he is expected to leave for another club on a free transfer.
The midfielder failed to make any sort of impact following his £6million arrival from Crewe Alexandra back in 2012 – albeit he was also sidelined for an extended period due to a serious injury.
He spent his previous two seasons on loan at Wigan as well as Leicester City and has only managed to register two appearances under manager Louis van Gaal this term.
Powell has only featured a total of nine times for the senior Red Devils squad since he joined the club, scoring his only goal back in 2012.
