Manchester United have joined the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Saido Berahino from West Bromwich Albion during the January window, Daily Star reports.
The 22-year-old is currently valued at around the £25million region and was heavily tipped to join Tottenham during the summer, but was denied an exit from his current side despite protest.
Berahino was believed to have handed in a transfer request and even refused to feature for his club when his exit was denied.
However, it seems that the striker has put all his previous conflicts with the club behind him as he has so far registered three goals from his previous 11 Premier League matches.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is now looking to reinforce his front line following a number of recent injury concerns which left him without a natural striker in their 2-1 win over Watford at the weekend.
Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial, as well as makeshift forward Marouane Fellaini were all unavailable as Memphis Depay was given the chance to impress up top, scoring the opening goal for his side.
