Manchester United star Angel Di Maria is said to be looking for wages of £170,000-a-week in order to accept a move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a departure from Old Trafford for the past few months following a poor debut campaign in the Premier League.
He joined for a record fee of £59.7million from Spanish giants Real Madrid last summer, but was eventually dropped by manager Louis van Gaal after a number of disappointing displays.
PSG owner Nasser Al Khelaifi and club sports director Olivier Letang is believed to be in London to meet United’s vice-chairman Ed Woodward as they discuss terms of the potential deal.
Di Maria was even said to be set for his medical with the Ligue 1 winners, but talks have been put on hold as PSG are not keen on meeting his full £9million–a-year demands.
The winger registered 20 starts for the Red Devils last term, featuring from the bench a further seven times, but only managed to score three goals.
