Manchester United star Matteo Darmian has played down talks of an exit following speculation that Juventus were keen on his services, Express reports.
The 26-year-old only completed his move to Old Trafford during the summer, but despite starting the current campaign on top form, he picked up a number of unconvincing displays in recent months.
Darmian was tipped for an exit after it was believed that he was struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League, with the Serie A giants hoping to lure him back to Italy.
However, the former Palermo full-back has come out to deny rumours that he was considering an exit from United and is fully focused on getting back to his best form.
“I am happy here with the team, the staff and the city,” he said.
“I am happy here so I just try to ignore the rumours. I want to continue on my way and that’s it.
“I think the manager is happy with my progress and when I train I try to improve day by day.
“And when the manager gives me a chance I try to do my best and to help the team.”
He has already registered 13 starts and two substitute appearances in the league this season, playing another four Champions League fixtures, but is yet to score or provide a single assist so far this term.
