Manchester United’s David De Gea is believed to have told his teammates that he isn’t keen on joining Real Madrid and is likely to extend his stay at Old Trafford, Daily Star reports.
The 24-year-old has been a stand-out performer for Louis van Gaal this season after some very impressive displays against both Everton and Liverpool this season.
Carlo Ancelotti is said to be considering a huge bid to try and lure De Gea to the La Liga as he tops the list of goalkeepers which could eventually replace club legend Iker Casillas.
Despite links of a high profile switch to the Bernabeu, the United shot-stopper is likely to accept a new deal as the club continues their push to once again become a force in Europe.
He was also recently praised by fellow countryman Juan Mata as well as club captain Wayne Rooney, with the England international labelling him as the best in the world.
