Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini is now under scrutiny after striking Liverpool ace Joe Allen with his elbow, Daily Star reports.
The tense Euro 2016 qualifier between Belgium and Wales ended 0-0, but during the fixture Fellaini clashed with Allen, giving the Reds midfielder a bloody nose.
The Belgian escaped the incident unpunished by the referee, despite Allen requiring medical treatment.
However the result will come as a big boost for Wales, who remain unbeaten in their group and are heading towards qualifying for their first competitive tournament since 1958.
Manager Chris Coleman will be confident of qualification with this Wales outfit featuring the likes of Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, and Ashley Williams.
Williams, who plies his trade with Swansea, was asked about the confrontation between Fellaini and Allen in which he replied: “Joe’s got some bruising on his face. I didn’t really see it at the time, but it looked like it was a coming together.”
