Manchester United look likely to be without Luke Shaw for about two weeks after he picked up an ankle injury during the 2-1 win over Arsenal at the weekend, Mirror reports.
The 19-year-old limped off in the first half of the match with Louis van Gaal being forced to play Ashley Young as a wing-back, leaving the club struggling with the availability of their defenders.
He now joins Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Daley Blind, and Rafael on the sidelines with Jonny Evans only recently returning to training after missing a handful of matches.
The England international was seen leaving the Emirates on crutches while wearing a protective boot as he will miss the upcoming clash with Hull City, Stoke City, and could also be a doubt to face former side Southampton on December 9th.
Despite picking up his second injury of the season, he is well on his way to becoming the team’s first choice left-back with Rojo preferred by Van Gaal to play down the middle.
