Manchester United are believed to have begun considering the option of making a January move for Everton defender Seamus Coleman who is currently rated at £25million, Daily Star reports.
The 26-year-old right back is currently on top of Louis van Gaal’s shopping list in regards to his vacant right back slot, where winger Antonio Valencia looks to have made that position is own this season.
Apart from Coleman, United are also closely monitoring the likes of Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne who is another target that can fill the right side of defence.
First choice Rafael has been injured on more than one occasion this season hence the need for Valencia to drop back to defend as the Van Gaal doesn’t have another natural player for the role.
A big boost for the Red Devils is that the Toffees star is believed to be a huge fan of the club after pictures of him when he was a kid wearing a United kit went viral, tipping that he could still be keen on a switch to Old Trafford.
